A better way to meet online
Synopsis team
Online sessions, rebuilt. Patients join straight from a link with no account, a waiting room means no one appears before you're ready, and you can lower the video quality to stay steady on a weak connection.
A better way to meet online
We've rebuilt online sessions to be easier for patients to join and steadier on a weak connection.
Joining is easier for patients
Send a patient or guardian the link to your session and they join straight from it. There's no account to create and no password to remember. They land on a quick screen to type their name and check their camera, microphone and speakers before anything goes live, so the first half-minute isn't spent on “can you hear me?”
A waiting room, so no one walks in unannounced
When someone joins, they wait on a “ready to join” screen until you let them in. You see who's waiting and admit them with a click. Nobody appears in your session before you're ready, which matters when you're still wrapping up notes from the session before.
Steadier on a poor connection
If the connection is patchy, you can drop the video quality in the call settings to keep the conversation going rather than freezing up. On a good line, leave it high.
Chat without leaving the call
There's a slide-out chat beside the video for sharing a link, a spelling, or a quick note mid-session, without anyone having to read it aloud.
You can start a call straight from a patient's profile or from the calendar, and it opens right inside Synopsis.
